The services department is one of the first departments established at MEFOSA, ensuring high quality services and customer satisfaction. It was first established to assist companies ensure their products are of high quality and are abiding by the international standards and food laws.

The aim of establishing this department is to prepare all food handlers to handle safe and quality food through guiding them to implement correct strategies to create high quality food products. This can be done through ISO certification preparation, HACCP courses, PRP’s such as basic hygiene practices and good manufacturing practices. This can reach to the highest level (level 4 lead auditor of ISO) which can be offered through our accredited associate; PECB.

We have successfully trained over 10,000 individuals in various NGO’s and agencies working with rural communities and industries such as   UNIDO, ILO, LFPAE, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Industry and others on local and regional economic development and empowerment projects.

We work with associate experts in the 12 food industry sectors in solving food safety issues through science and technology.
