The detailed description of the project: The LFPADE is currently implementing the project: Promotion of the Economic Status of Women in South Lebanon; funded by: The UN Women/ Fund for Gender Equality in Tyr region; to reach 300 women
The goal of the project is to strengthened socio-economic status of women in the marginalized regions of
South Lebanon, through: economic empowerment, an important component of gender equality.
This is done by:
- 42 hour training about good agriculture, hygiene, manufacturing practices and HACCP program done over 7 days per group
- 16 hour training about good marketing practices, market access and branding
- 16 hour training about how to manage small enterprises
- Equipping COOPs from these regions to be able to sell the ladies products.
MEFOSA act as the technical partner of LFPADE in this project in the first 2 points.
